Meet the Artist

Carmel Grant Designs originally began as Caricatures by Carmel in 2013 and was created from a passion of drawing memories. My love for creating caricatures began in a Leixlip County Kildare school, where I drew each teacher as a farewell gift. Their joyful reactions is a memory I always cherished, and today this has developed into designing personalised, humorous gifts for milestone occasions from my Waterford City studio.

My focus is on the customer, bringing them on the journey through the design process to see their design come to life as a cartoon. I capture the essence of each person I draw in a fun way. Each design is original, and designed to bring happiness to customers for some of the most important of times in their lives.

Ordering a custom hand drawn caricature artwork, illustration or design is an easy process. I offer a range of products ranging from caricature guest signing boards, wedding and event stationery, framed print gifts and digital designs for marketing materials. All that is required are clear photographs and details of what personal information to include, and I will capture a memory creating a keepsake.
