Hi, I’m Carmel Grant, the designer behind the Paper Doll Books.
The Paper Doll Books, offer creative fun with a paper doll that stands once constructed, along with a wide range of outfits to colour in, cut out, and dress the doll in. Beautifully designed and printed in Ireland, these nostalgic books let young artists become the stylist, learn new skills and bring their own creative vision to life through imaginative play.
I love designing these books, knowing they can give children a break from screens and inspire imaginative creative playful moments. In a world where everyone is addicted to technology, these Paper Doll Books bring us back to simpler times.

Since the release of the Paper Doll Book Collection in May 2025, the books have received wonderful recognition and national press coverage. Carmel Grant Designs was named a Best Newcomer finalist at the Business of Crafts Awards at Showcase Ireland 2026, and earned a place on the prestigious Design Craft Council of Ireland “The Edit” Shortlist.
The feedback has been incredibly encouraging, and I’m so grateful for the continued support as the Paper Doll Books journey continues to grow.
