Hi, I’m Carmel Grant, the designer behind the Colour & Style paper doll books. I am a digital artist based in Waterford City Ireland, who creates caricatures and humorous designs for gifts, wedding invitation cards and promotional materials.

During the first Covid-19 lockdown, I found comfort in watching nostalgic 80s and 90s films. Inspired by childhood memories and knowing that families were adjusting to home learning and long days inside, I began designing free printable paper dolls to spark creativity and fun.

The positive response from parents and children has motivated me to keep creating. I love designing these books, knowing they can give children a break from screens and inspire imaginative creative playful moments. My goal is simple: to bring a little joy, imagination, and nostalgia into children’s lives, one paper doll at a time.
